360 Software

Right now our 360 software is producing online questionnaires and feedback reports for City University, Dairy Crest, The Digital Property Group, ISS, Old Mutual, Skandia, Thomas Cook, Virgin Media… And, several other leading organisations.

It makes vital contributions to coaching, leadership development, talent management, development centres, performance reviews and change programmes.

It has been reliable, easy and helpful since 1999, but it's never stood still. Prompted by organisations' changing needs and evolving best practice there have been more than 40 enhancements. Importantly, software development has never been prompted by things going wrong. We do so much testing and piloting that software bugs are very, very rare indeed.

Simplicity underpins everything we do. Simplicity means managers concentrate on the really important things: on understanding and strengthening their performance. Not on grappling with complex web pages or feedback reports.

Central to keeping things simple is our use of web links. Users just click on links to get questionnaires, feedback reports, help and resources. For example, click on this link for a sample 360 questionnaire…

Web links contain all the information our software needs – the organisation, the questionnaire type, the manager receiving feedback. And, because they are unique to the individual, only selected people have access.

To complete a questionnaire for him/herself a manager merely clicks on a web link in an email sent by our software. And, to get feedback from others the manager uses his/her Address Book to forward part of the email to those people. Simple!

There is no tedious, error-prone entering of names, email addresses, websites or passwords. And, to get feedback from extra people the manager just forwards the e-mail to them too.

Many of our customers choose to print each manager's 360 feedback report, and then discuss the paper copy with him/her. But, reports can also be accessed through web links in e-mails. That is often helpful in larger projects (e.g. when 360 is part of performance review).

For a sample 360 report, for a fictional HR Business Partner, please close Chris Stevens' questionnaire web page, and then click on this web link…

For guidance on working with the report, just click on each section's “Help" button. And, for hundreds of practical ideas on strengthening competencies click on "Development Options" in the report's introduction.

Chris's report uses just one of the many formats we offer. Our customers can choose how feedback is displayed, although the simple red-amber-green is by far the most popular.

Setting up feedback for a manager can take as little as 30 seconds. For some 360 tools, all that is needed is the manager's name, e-mail address and role.

Every 360 tool is tailored to the customer, including…
